Officers are appealing for witnesses to a collision which took place in Gloucester earlier this week.
We were called to Russell Street at around 2.40pm on Tuesday (21 July) with a report that the driver of a black Peugeot had collided with a parked car near to the junction for Clarence Street.
The driver of the car did not stop and ran away from officers. Searches were conducted in the area and a 49-year-old man from Gloucester was located nearby and arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
He was taken to police custody and has since been released on conditional bail.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are asking who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or who has CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to make contact.
